HYNDAI AWNT

Hyundai India is all set to launch another global model - Avante - in Indian market. It is a D segment car which is sold as Elantra in other markets, but in India Elantra has been a major flop so Hyundai is expected to launch it as Avante.

Avante offers an excellent choice for drivers who need a compact car with an economic frame of mind in a handsome body with good lines and an eye toward style.

Hyundai's sedan is currently in its fifth generation, and thisElantra (Avante) is the best ever. The impressive exterior styling, with its clean lines and sculpted body sides, borrows design characteristics from the larger and more expensive high end sedans.

It is a more spacious sedan model than its previous incarnation, it can seat up to five passengers and has storage compartments galore.

"The new Hyundai Avante encompasses Hyundai's latest ambitions, featuring the best styling and performance in its class," Steve S. Yang, President & CEO of Hyundai's Global Business Division, said at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) today. "We're confident that it will once again redefine the compact segment worldwide."

With sportier and even more elegant lines than its predecessor, the new Hyundai Avante - badged as Elantra in markets outside Korea - continues Hyundai's 'fluidic sculpture' design philosophy.

Hyundai has applied its latest 1.6L Gamma Gasoline Direct Injection engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission to the front-wheel drive compact, the first time GDI and six-speed automatic have been featured on a compact sedan in Korea. The new Avante delivers a peak output of 140ps and maximum torque of 17.0kg•m. It is also about 10 percent more fuel efficient than its closest competitors, thanks to GDI, the six speed automatic and other fuel economy enhancements.

The new Hyundai Avante will delight and surprise with a raft of other advanced features not found on other compacts, including HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps, LED combination lamps in the rear, heated rear seats, puddle lamps and a color TFT LCD information display nestled in the gauge cluster.

Under the Avante/Elantra badge, Hyundai has sold over 6 million units worldwide since the car's launch in 1990. Hyundai will begin sales of the all-new Hyundai Avante in the second half of 2010 in Korea.

At a separate commercial vehicle booth, Hyundai displayed a hydrogen fuel-cell electric bus and a Universe Limousine luxury coach, among other displays

Hyundai Motor Co. had its world-premier of the all-new Hyundai Avante compact sedan, the company's best-selling model worldwide, at the 2010 Busan International Motor Show.

Hyundai Avante/Elantra 2011 Design

The base for the design of Hyundai Avante and Verna has been derived from the Hyundai Sonata YF and features a completely new design. With no surprise the Fluidic Sculpture Design which was earlier seen in Hyundai i-Flow is really doing wonders for such upcoming models. Adding to the beauty of the car are the HID Xenon Headlamps and LED Tail lamps.

Taking a look at the front of the car from a distance, leaves the viewer with an inexpressible appeal because of those “Brutal Eyes” sort of headlamps. The front grille protrudes outwards, unlike most of the recently launched cars, making the face look a bit pointed.

Alloys as seen in the image above are also new and attractive to look at.From the back the tail lamps yet again bring an entirely different look and summarizing it we can say, the car has been styled to meet the evolving appearance wishes of the customers.

QUALIS CARS

S

The Qualis is powered by a mighty, high performan ce 2.4 litre diesel engine. It delivers a maximum power of 54 KW at 4200 rpm and a maximum torque of 151 Nm at 2400 rpm.
The 2.4 litre straight four-cylinder diesel engine guranteees smooth starts and powerful acceleration with a maximum speed of 130 km/h. It has a number of safety features like a crumple zone, three point ELR seatbelts, side door beams etc.

Toyota Kirloskar has acquired 430 acres of land in Bidadi and hopes a production of 20,000 vehicles in the first year of operation and 35,000 vehicles in the following year.

The car is offered in more than 10 ranges, including a special model for the farm sector, which will have cheaper air conditioners and washable seat covers.

The first time I took this gentle giant for a spin I was shocked at the comfort level in driving it! This was a huge vehicle as compared to my Maruti 800 and I was accustomed to the early Mahindra Jeeps which handled and sounded like a tractor.

The drawback in the Quails is the rather outdated looks. It looks rather old and staid to my eyes. It does not look like menacing monster that is the Bolero, it does not have the sleek Macho looks of the Scorpio.

TAVERA CARS

TAVERA CARS

The Tavera moves the MUV game ahead with its combination of space, pleasant looks, driveability and a well-sorted chassis. It can’t make the cut as a true SUV or a real lifestyle car, but as practical family transport. The Tavera is good value for money quite the perfect all-rounder among the current crop of SUVs and MUVs.

The Chevrolet Tavera is a compact MPV produced in Indonesia by Japanese automaker Isuzu Motors and in India by American automaker General Motors sold in ASEAN and Indian markets. It uses the platform of the Isuzu Panther, a diesel-powered multi-purpose vehicle sold in Indonesia. In other markets it is known as the Isuzu AUV, HiLander or Crosswind.

Recently, because of Chevrolet's marketing of their Indian lineup as "an Indian revolution" (similar to their US marketing campaign), the Tavera is now sold as two models. The original Tavera is still being sold; however more upmarket models in India are now sold as the "Tavera Neo 2".

In India there are 2 versions of the Tavera, the original Tavera, the base model which includes the B1 and B2 trims, and the Tavera neo 2(this version was called simply Tavera neo before the Indian Tavera facelift, and before that Tavera Elite), the normal version which includes the LS-B3, the LS-B4, the LT-L and the high-end SS-D1.

With its better average mileage of 14.3kmpl; ergomax seating arrangement with flexible and comfort option; noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) and other features are making this car more and more reliable to the buyers.

In the early 1970s, European demand from consumers for small cars was rising. Even Ford's smallest model, the Escort, was a conventional front-engined, rear wheel drive car; yet competitors were launching smaller, front wheel drive cars, like the Fiat 127 and the Peugeot 104. The effects of the 1973 energy crisis were also increasing demand for smaller cars. BMC (which had since merged into British Leyland) had entered the mini-car market with its Mini in 1959, while the Rootes Group had launched the ultimately less successful Hillman Imp in 1963, but times had moved on and people looking for small cars now wanted practical hatchbacks instead of conventional sedans. GM had entered the modern supermini market with its conventional Opel Kadett City/Vauxhall Chevette three-door hatchback twins early in 1975

SYMPTOMS ABOUT THE KIDNEY STONES

SYMPTOMS ABOUT THE KIDNEY STONES

Symptoms of kidney stones (aka, renal calculi) vary from person to person, but most people experience severe pain. Kidney stone pain is characterized by its severity.

The excruciating pain is usually centralized in the back or sides and sometimes moves as the stone moves. During an attack, many sufferers experience nausea and vomiting.

They may discover blood in their urine. About eighty percent of stones are small enough to be passed without symptoms and there are some people that have kidney stones but never experience pain.

The other twenty percent of stones make renal calculi one of the most dreaded health conditions.

Kidney stones have been plaguing the human race for a long time. Archaeologists have discovered kidney stones along with human remains in 3,000 year old Egyptian mummies!

It is estimated that three percent of the world's population will suffer from kidney stones in their lifetime. White American males are the most likely to have kidney stones, with a 1 in 8 chance.

MEANS OF KIDNEY

What are Kidney Stones

Kidney stones are the result of crystals that form in your urine and they can be of several different compositions. There are three types of stones that are the most popular.

The most common type of stone is the calcium stone. Seventy to eighty percent of all stone sufferers have calcium stones.

Struvite stones make up about twelve percent of all kidney stones. Struvite stones are made of magnesium ammonium phosphate and are associated with UTI's (urinary tract infections). These stones can be especially damaging to the kidney.

Ten percent of stones are made from uric acid which is related to metabolizing protein. These stones are often pear or diamond in shaped.

What Causes Kidney Stones
Many factors can make a person suspectable to kidney stones. Genetics are two of the biggest culprits. Dehydration makes urine more concentrated and therefore more likely to produce stones.

That is acidic is more likely to form calcium and uric acid stones, whereas alkaline urine will form struvite stones.

Diets that are low in fiber and , and high in protein can promote the formation of kidney stones. Uric acid stones can form when there is too much uric acid in the urine.

This can be the result of severe dieting, excessive drinking, and certain illnesses. Fifteen percent of uric acid stone suffers have high levels of uric acid in their urine.

How Do I Get Tested for Kidney Stones

The easiest test for kidney stones is to retrieve a stone you have passed! If you believe you may be passing a stone for the first time, be sure to look for it in your urine and retrieve it.

Having the stone will allow for your doctor to analyze the composition and offer you the most effective treatment. Other methods such as ultrasound and x-rays can also be used to check for kidney stones. Calcium stones will show up as white on an x-ray.
